March 16, 2008 - Engine Mounting Prep

I applied sealant to the AN and transducer pipe fittings that go into the manifold, then torqued them down.

The lower transducer is for fuel pressure.  The top two transducers are for oil pressure:  one for the Dynon and one for the Hobbs.

I secured the oil pressure hose to the firewall with Adel clamps.

I inventoried all my hoses and made sure I had the required fittings.

I installed the little "restricter" fitting into the engine.  Supposedly it's impossible to do once the engine is hung on the engine mount.  It's a 45 degree fitting for the oil pressure line.
